Christmas is coming and it comes along with all those cookies and yummie pastries. Did you ever wonder what kinds of pastries are traditional in Finland? Would you like to know how to make them? Join us on Monday December 1st at 18:00 and you will be able to get an answer to this question!

ESN Aalto is organizing a Christmas baking evening where we will be making Finnish gingerbread cookies (“piparkakku”) and Christmas tarts (“joulutorttu”, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joulutorttu). We will also be serving the Christmas drink glögi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mulled_wine) for the bakers. After we’re done baking, we can of course eat the goodies we’ve made.

All ingredients will be provided so just show up in the best baking-mood you can!

The event will take place in the living room in Jämeräntaival 5A. You will find the living room when you enter JMT 5A, walk down the stairs and it will be on the right side of the hallway.

Please mark you as attending to this event if you’re planning to attend so that we know how much ingredients to buy. Remember that the kitchen in the living room is quite small so you might have to take turns with the baking.
