Do you want to meet students from other universities in Finland and have fun playing floorball together? Do you want to visit Jyväskylä? Then Moosecup is meant for you!
ESN Finland is organising a national floorball tournament: Moosecup!! Most ESN sections will be there. This event is organized with Sporticus (association of sports students in Jyväskylä), University of Jyväskylä and Happee (Finnish floorball team). The event takes place on 25.11 from 9 am to 4 pm in Jyväskylä The tournament consists of around 24 teams and each team will play at least 3 matches of 15 minutes. You do not need to have played floorball before, this event is only meant for having fun. The equipment will be provided.
If you don't know what floorball is, ESN Aalto will attend a match on Wednesday (5.11): https://www.facebook.com/events/789756987729165/ where you will be able to practice and watch a high-level game. Pre-sale (discounted) tickets can be bought on Tuesday 4.11 from 11 to 13 in the lobby of the main building.
At the Moosecup, there will be awesome side events and an amazing after-party. Even if you are not willing to play, you can still go there to cheer your friends. It is a nice opportunity to go to a new city and meet lots of other international students.
We will arrange the transportation and sponsor part of it. We will leave Otaniemi in the morning and come back after the after-party. If you want to join, please contact us (esn-b@list.ayy.fi) before 15.11. We’ll then make the final team registration. We will require a deposit for confirmation.
